Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is looking for a strong, Administrative Director Adult Acute Care, a master's Level RN who is able to provide overall direction of the Adult Acute Care areas: Med Surg, Telemetry, Stroke, Oncology, Dialysis, and Orthopedics. The leader will provide interaction across divisions and able to work well with all departments in the organization. This position is similar to a VP in many hospital organizations.

The Administrative Director Adult Acute Care Services is primarily accountable for the overall planning, implementation and operation of multiple clinical/nursing departments in order to meet the needs of the organization; provides leadership and expertise in the management of the department; has primary accountability for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbent's responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of YRMC.

Responsibilities

Overall Planning/Vision Provides vision, forward thinking and strategic planning in a proactive manner while being open-minded and creative in establishing a strategic direction for the entire Adult Acute Services areas of YRMC; develops through an integration of ideas of those involved, an organized strategy to achieve both short and long term objectives for the department; effectively communicates strategy to obtain commitment by the responsible individuals; leads the strategic planning process for the respective department; ensures plans and objectives are integrated within the plans of the medical center; works with others in leadership as well as physicians to identify and evaluate programs and emerging technologies.

Able to provide overall direction and accountability for division in:

  • Human Resources Management
  • Community - Leverages the unique system capabilities.

Admin Director Adult Acute Care (RN) Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years related experience
  • 3+ years supervisory experience
  • Masters Degree
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Licensed RN (Arizona)

Admin Director Adult Acute Care (RN) Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (on-call)
