Job Description

 Yuma Regional Medical Center is a 406-bed facility located in sunny, southwestern Arizona. We have a main hospital campus, off-site cancer center, outpatient laboratory services, and numerous clinics as a part of our medical group, including a primary care facility in the Foothills - 41 locations in total.


The Administrative Director for Quality Services and Patient Safety is responsible for the planning and execution of YRMC's overall Quality and Performance Improvement activities hospital-wide (including outpatient departments); oversees Clinical Education, Infection Prevention, Medical Staff Peer Review, Nursing Peer Review, Clinical Documentation Improvement Management, Quality Measure collection, abstraction and submission, and strategic initiatives to achieve the highest quality, satisfaction and safety of care for our patients with the goal of national recognition in these areas; assures collaboration and cooperation between Quality, Risk & Education, Safety and Utilization Management functions; reports to the Chief Nursing Officer with direct reports; possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literacy and diplomacy are essential; possesses the ability to analyze and present data in a clear and logical manner; provides education to medical staff, hospital staff and Governing Board around quality initiatives.

Master's Degree


Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
