| The Corporate Compliance Officer manages compliance with local state/federal agencies (CMS, COP, AHCCCS, AzDHS, OSHA, etc.) by monitoring rules, regulations, and standards applicable to YRMC. Oversees hospital survey readiness programs. Coordinates and completes applications for licensure, certification, and accreditation. Provides guidance, implementation and maintenance of organization’s Corporate Integrity Program and HIPAA Privacy policies and procedures. Performs proactive and reactive compliance risk assessments. Delivers compliance and privacy training and orientation to all employees, volunteers, medical and professional staff, contractors, business associates and other appropriate third parties. Establishes and administers a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating and taking action on all complaints of non-compliance.|
The incumbent is primarily accountable for the planning, implementation and operation of the department to meet the needs of the organization. The Corporate Compliance Officer provides leadership and expertise in the management of the department, and is accountable for human resource management, financial management, and quality management of the department. The incumbent is responsible for compliance reporting directly to the CEO and/or Governing Board, and reports to General Counsel for day-to-day operations.

3 years related experience. Computer proficiency.
Experience Preferred: Corporate healthcare compliance experience in a leadership role.
Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems.
