Job Description

The Data Abstractor screens for problems related to quality of care by comparing core measure standards to physician practice and trends. Reports any findings to Director of Quality Services. Uses computer to access data. Abstracts data needed from medical records stored in ChartMaxx. Maintains a high degree of proficiency in performing data abstraction, which includes accuracy, thoroughness, and problem solving. Meets standards for abstraction accuracy set by CMS.


Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma, 2+ years related experience

Preferred: Medical terminology - Patient care assistant or Medical Assistant experience Prior experience with electronic medical records, and office software such as Microsoft Office

Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
