Director Patient Access - Call Center
Yuma Regional Medical Center is a 406-bed facility located in sunny, southwestern Arizona. We have a main hospital campus, off-site cancer center, outpatient laboratory services, and numerous clinics as a part of our medical group, including a primary care facility in the Foothills - 41 locations in total.
The Director Patient Access, Call Center manages the multiple facets of patient access services both centralized and decentralized including enterprise-wide scheduling service, pre-registration, insurance eligibility and verification; Maintains a competent, professional, customer-friendly, well-trained staff and ensures a high level of accuracy and completeness related to all functions within the Patient Access Department; Leads the planning, implementation and operation of the department in order to meet the needs of the organization; Provides leadership and expertise in the management of the department. Maintains accountability for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbent's responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of YRMC.
