The Fund Development Specialist serves as a Community Outreach Representative coordinating projects, special events, annual fund drives and donor recognition activities for the YRMC Foundation while maintaining records of activities and facilitating appropriate communication with community, management, boards, volunteers, physicians, health care and business professionals, media and outside providers of services.

Coordinates Foundation project activities and reporting; collaborates with grant writer to identify project funding and development of oversight requirements; serves as
member of project team to monitor procedures, facilitate activities within grant budget and guidelines, and report activities to grant writer; compiles, reports, and tracks
feedback as needed; submits progress reports and final report for Director review and submission to funding agency.

Coordinates and oversees data base tracking and donor recognition; develops strategy to establish and maintain identification and tracking system of all donors and sponsors

for the Foundation; trains staff on proper use of data base and codes; oversees data entry and processing of gifts; ensures all gifts are entered and sends thank you letters

within one week of receiving donation; ensures all acknowledgements meet IRS guidelines; ensures appropriate recognition is given according to Board policies and

procedures; coordinates annual recognition events with the assistance of the Board Stewardship Committee; works with vendors on displays and engraving throughout the

organization.

·Two (2) or more years related experience

·Bachelor’s degree-Business Admin-other

Work Schedule: 8 hours-days
