Job Description

 

As HIM Technician I you will perform related processing, scanning, retrieving, and releasing information in the health / medical record. This position responds to requests for medical records and MyCare, YRMC's electronic medical records that patients may access. HIM Technician I's must be proficient in utilizing computer software and various media to locate and distribute health record information. Maintaining strict confidentiality while handling these requests is a must.

Minimum Requirements:
· High School Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in EPIC

 

Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
