Manager Patient Access - Main Campuses & Auth Unit
The Patient Access Manager provides overall leadership in planning, organizing, and directing in all Patient Access activities for a centralized scheduling/call center, registration, insurance and financial verification and/or documentation, practitioners’ orders and admitting outpatients, inpatients, and/or Emergency room patients; Works closely alongside supported physicians, practice staff, and all departments within Yuma Regional Medical Center to ensure that Patient Access delivers high value, patient-and family centered care and support; Effectively utilizes and demonstrates knowledge of human resources, organizational and clinical office policies, procedures and systems, medical practices, fiscal management, terminology reimbursement policies, computer systems, spreadsheet and financial systems programs and application; Exercises a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objective.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years related experience, 1+ years supervisory experience
Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
