|Under the direction of the healthcare provider, clinical staff and/or department leadership, provide medical assistance and medical clerical support to the specialty clinic. This position is a multi-skilled professional who must perform both administrative and clinical skills in the medical clinic environment. This person may be responsible for working with multiple physicians in order to provide quality coordinated care to clinic patients.|

| Education Required: |
High school or equivalent. Certified or credentialed through a national registry as a Medical Assistant.
Basic life support for healthcare providers as appropriate & required for assigned department.
Arizona Department of Public Safety (IVP or Non-IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for assigned area/location. Education Preferred:

Must be 18 years of age. Computer proficiency (must be able to pass computer proficiency assessment)
1 year experience as a medical assistant. Bi-lingual English/Spanish (read, speak, write). Experience related to specialty clinic. Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems.
