Job Description


Working closely with patients and their families, the Patient Access Counselor is responsible for facilitating a positive patient experience through friendly coordination and advocating in terms of reception, pre-registration, registration, scheduling, and other interactions during the patient stay in the facility. This individual initiates, follows-up, and coordinates with the patient and his/her family and outside agencies in assisting with Medicaid, AHCCCS, Marketplace, and YRMC Financial Assistance.

Minimum Requirements:
· High School Diploma / GED
· Two (2) or more years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:
· Certified Application Counselor (CAC)


Work Schedule: 10-hours, Varied, Varied
