NEW GRAD (RN) - Medical/Surgical - Full Time Nights Tower 4

Yuma Regional Medical Center is a 406-bed facility located in sunny, southwestern Arizona. We have a main hospital campus, off-site cancer center, outpatient laboratory services, and numerous clinics as a part of our medical group, including a primary care facility in the Foothills. 

Position Summary: The RN serves as a direct patient care nurse in Adult Acute Care services. Tower 4 is a36-Bed, private room, medical/surgical department that primarily cares for patients recovering from general, orthopedic, trauma and specialty surgeries. The RN is accountable for the patient's direct nursing care in Adult Acute Care services carrying out the nursing processes such as assessment, analysis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. In addition, the RN is in charge of clinical support to medical providers, such as medication and immunization administration, unlicensed personnel supervision and competent delegation, medication reconciliation, and patient education. Finally, the RN is responsible for providing quality healthcare by managing the environment, promoting safety, evidence-based practice, medical and technical competence, person-centered care, positive interpersonal behaviors, and clinical leadership and governance.

Required:

Arizona or compact state RN License. 

BLS: Basic Life Support certification.

Experience Preferred: Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems.

Work Schedule: 12-hours, Nights, Varied
