Summary:
The Charge Nurse Inpatient leads people, effectively uses time, equipment and supplies to maximize throughput of the surgical patient. Recruits, trains, and engages perioperative staff while engaging medical staff colleagues to strengthen relationships while continuing to work to meet or exceed organizational and national patient safety and quality goals.

Responsibilities:
Leads staff members. Performs employee feedbacks, oversees training, makes assignments, and demonstrates leadership to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Engages and builds medical staff relationships.

Maximizes efficient of utilization of supply, equipment, and labor budget.

Supports all patient safety oversight while providing this leadership and direction to supervised staff members.

Other duties as assigned.






Credentials:
Essential:
* BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
* PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS)
* REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Education:
Essential:
* ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE

Other information:
REQUIRED: 3+ years related experience
