Job Description

 

The Childbirth Educator Coordinator arranges, designs, teaches, and evaluates the Childbirth Education Program which educates parents and their support persons as the prepare for pregnancy, labor, and birth. By providing instruction and safety checks of proper car seat installation and use, educating families and siblings in the care and handling of a newborn / integrating a new child into the family, and helping with consumer advocacy, the Childbirth Educator Coordinator works toward a smooth pregnancy, childbirth, and transition process for the family.

Minimum Requirements:

· High School Diploma / GED

· Two (2) or more years of related experience

· Certified Car Seat Technician

· Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE)


    Work Schedule: 8-hours, Varied, Varied
