Min = $30.67
Mid = $38.34

Summary:

The CT Technologist performs routine, emergent, cardiac, and interventional CT procedures adhering to department protocols on patients of all ages; practices safe radiation dosing for patients including image gently and insure all required QA is completed; maintains a clean and safe workplace.

Responsibilities:

Performs routine and emergent CT examinations including obtaining and documenting pertinent patient history, explaining the procedures to the patient, answering the patient's questions, and gaining the patient's written consent. Performs cardiac and CT interventional procedures. Uses safe radiation practices according to ARRA regulations and licensing restrictions while using "common sense" approaches to everyday issues, such as reducing dose exposures to neonatal and adolescent patients. Maintains a clean and safe workplace. Other duties as assigned. 


Credentials:
Essential:
* BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
* COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)
* COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST (CTCT)

Education:
Essential:
* ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE
