The Lab Extern is a 12-month rotational training opportunity in which the Intern performs quantitative, qualitative and subjective lab procedures by manual and automated methods for inpatient and outpatients in all disciplines of the lab i.e. Microbiology, Serology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Hematology, Blood bank, and phlebotomy as needed. Under direction, the Intern will accurately perform quality assurance, calibrations, and control processes in support of laboratory regulatory compliance.

High School Diploma

Work Schedule: 8 hours daily, Shift 2
