The PBX Operator manages Telephone Switchboard and other communication tools and information systems to assist customers; manages emergency alarm panel and code phone; utilizes proper telephone etiquette and provide exceptional customer service; provides information to customers, while staying consistent with Privacy Policies

Operates telephone switchboard to receive and send calls (AVAYA); utilizes various communication tools and information systems to facilitate communication between internal and external customers (Information system, EPIC, Overhead paging, Vocera group messaging system, 2 Way Radio, Beeper System, Long distance assistance).

Accurately and efficiently processes a high volume of calls; utilizes proper telephone etiquette and provides exceptional customer service; complies with Performance Standards, in terms of Fast, Friendly, and Knowledgeable support service.

Participates in team goal activities, information management, and training of new hires.

Other duties as assigned.
